1/20/21 - This is a scarce Italian Beretta Model 1922 (1915/19) that was issued to the Italian Navy in the 1920s. There were only 50,000 total of this model produced, with a smaller fraction of that going to the Navy, rather than the Italian Army. This one has the Navy anchor on both sides of the frame. The finish is original but does have patches of wear in various areas, mostly on slide and frame edges. Original grips and magazine. The model 1922 was an improvement on the model 1915 and manufactured from 1922-31. The bore has pronounced rifling but shows a good amount of use with frost and freckling through the grooves.
